Baked Beans Toast

Baked beans are a powerhouse of nutrients, vitamins, minerals and protein. Baked beans toast makes a very healthy and protein-rich breakfast. It can also be quickly put together to be enjoyed as a healthy snack with the evening tea.

Serves: Makes 2 toasts

  1. 2 bread slices
  2. 1 cup baked beans in tomato sauce
  3. 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  4. 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped green chilli or to taste
  5. 2 tablespoons grated cheese


  1. Toast the bread slices in an electric toaster or a flat pan till golden brown and crispy.
  2. Top each toast with baked beans .
  3. Sprinkle chopped onions, grated cheese and green chillies on top of baked beans.
  4. Serve immediately.
