Rajma Sandwich

Healthy sandwich prepared by stuffing boiled rajma combined with grated cheese and other delicious ingredients.

  1. Ingredients for Stuffing:
  2. 1 cup boiled Rajma (Red Kidney Beans)
  3. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  5. 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  6. 2 tablespoons grated cheese
  7. 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  8. 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce (optional)
  9. 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Other ingredients:
  12. 6 slices bread
  13. 2 teaspoons butter


  1. Combine all the ingredients for stuffing in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Place 3 slices of bread in a dish and spread the prepared stuffing generously on each slice with the help of a spoon. Cover each of them with a bread slice.
  3. Apply little butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches and keep aside.
  4. Pre-heat a sandwich grill or a grill pan and brush little butter on it. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes or until light brown and crispy from both sides.
  5. Cut the sandwiches diagonally. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato chutney .
