Chocolate Truffles

Rich and indulgent handmade chocolate balls that can grace any occasion and bring a smile on everyone’s face. Insanely easy yet delicious, these chocolate truffles are a perfect sweet treat for Valentine’s Day.

  1. 2 tablespoons or 30g unsalted butter
  2. 3 tablespoons + 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  3. 397g sweetened condensed milk
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence


  1. Melt butter in a non-stick pan on medium heat. Add condensed milk and 3 tablespoons cocoa powder. Cook on medium heat while stirring continuously till it becomes thick. This will take about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Put the mixture in a bowl and refrigerate it for about an hour or until set.
  3. Take the remaining cocoa powder in a shallow bowl to roll the chocolate truffles.
  4. Apply some melted butter on your palms. Take a spoonful of mixture and roll it into a ball using your palms. Roll this ball in cocoa powder and keep it in a separate plate. Repeat the same process to make chocolate truffles from the remaining mixture.
  5. Homemade chocolate truffles are ready to be served.

You can roll the chocolate truffles in chocolate sprinkles, coarsely ground almonds or any other topping of your choice.
