Green Chutney

A heavenly delicious chutney prepared by grinding fresh coriander leaves with other ingredients to give it a piquant and tangy kick.

  1. 4 cups washed coriander leaves with stalks
  2. 1 large onion
  3. 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  4. 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  5. 3-4 green chillies
  6. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  7. 1/2 teaspoon black salt (Kala Namak)
  8. 1 tablespoon ground almonds
  9. Salt to taste


  1. Put all the ingredients except ground almonds in a grinder and grind them till smooth. 
  2. Take the green chutney out in a glass jar. This chutney can be kept in the refrigerator for a week.

Recipe Tips:

You can adjust the number of green chillies according to your taste. If you do not want your chutney to be very hot, you can add less chillies.
