Green Apple & Mint Chutney

Delicious and salubrious relish packed with health benefits of green apples and mint. Green apples impart a nice crunchy texture along with a tangy savour and mint bestows a superb green colour coupled with a refreshing flavour.

  1. 2 green apples
  2. 2 cups fresh mint leaves
  3. 2 large onions
  4. 3-4 green chillies
  5. 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  6. 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  7. 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  8. 1 teaspoon sugar
  9. Salt to taste


  1. Roughly chop the green apples, mint, onions and green chillies.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind till smooth.
  3. Take the chutney out in a glass jar and keep refrigerated. This chutney can be kept in the refrigerator for a week.

Recipe Tips:

If the green apple is not available, you can use 1/2 cup peeled & chopped raw mango instead of green apples.

You can also prepare this chutney without green apple or raw mango.
