Quick Paneer Masala

Quick & easy paneer-dish that can be prepared with ingredients which are usually available at home.

It’s a very versatile dish that can be enjoyed with roti or paratha, used as a sandwich filling or a topping for homemade pizza!

  1. 250g paneer, cut into small cubes
  2. 1 onion, finely chopped
  3. 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  4. 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  5. 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup
  6. 1 teaspoon finely chopped green chillies
  7. 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  9. 2 tablespoons oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves


  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add onions. Saute them till golden brown.
  3. Add the tomatoes, ginger, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Cook till the moisture gets evaporated and oil starts separating from the mixture.
  4. Add the tomato ketchup, paneer cubes and green chillies. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or paratha.
