Beetroot, Carrot & Spinach Juice

Incredibly delicious & flavourful juice packed with anti-oxidants, beta-carotene and plenty of vitamins & minerals.

Ingredients

  1. 1 medium-sized beetroot
  2. 5 carrots (preferably organic)
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 1 cup spinach (preferably organic)
  5. 1 inch piece of ginger
  6. 1 lemon
  7. 1 apple
  8. 1 orange
  9. Handful of mint
  10. 1/2 teaspoon black salt (kala namak) or to taste

Method

  1. Wash all the vegetables & fruits thoroughly.
  2. Peel the beetroot, ginger, orange and lemon.
  3. Cut the vegetables and fruit so that they fit and easily pass through the feed tube of your juicer.
  4. Add the cut vegetables and fruit to the juicer and juice them.
  5. Add the black salt to the juice and mix well.
  6. Serve immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I prepare this juice and keep it in the fridge so that it can be consumed later?

You can keep this juice in the fridge for 3-4 hours but do not add orange and lemon while preparing the juice otherwise it will taste slightly bitter. You can squeeze the lemon while serving the juice.
