Aloo Chaat

Crispy golden brown potato cubes seasoned with spices and lemon juice. If you are craving for a chaat, this one can be prepared very quickly and with very few ingredients!

  1. 4 potatoes (boiled, peeled and cubed)
  2. 2 tablespoons oil
  3. 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  4. 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  5. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (optional)


  1. Heat oil in a flat non-stick pan. When the oil is hot, carefully place the cubed potatoes in a single layer.
  2. Flip them over occasionally while cooking on medium heat till they turn golden brown and crisp from all sides.
  3. Take them out in a large bowl. Add lemon juice, chaat masala and red chilli powder. Mix well and serve immediately.

Note: Use sendha namak instead of chaat masala if you are preparing to consume it during fasting.
